Four signs that your clinic's marketing needs checking

A check-up exists so that you stop guessing and start knowing.

  • New patient numbers are falling

It used to be better, bookings are down, and it is unclear at which stage they are lost.

  • You have a website, but it brings no enquiries

People arrive and leave without a call or a booking.

  • Advertising costs more, bookings stay flat

The budget grows, so does the cost per enquiry, and the flow of patients does not move.

  • Patients choose the clinic next door

Even though your care is better — at the moment of choosing, you are either invisible or not trusted.

In ten years of healthcare marketing I have seen dozens of clinics paying for advertising while patients were being lost at a stage nobody had thought about.

Stages of the clinic marketing check-up

  1. Funnel figures for every channel

    What we do

We follow the path from first view to booked appointment: at which stages patients drop out, and why.

    Outcome:

You see which channel eats budget without bringing patients.

  2. Website and search results review

    What we do

We walk the patient’s path through the site: can they find prices and doctors, is it obvious what to click.

    Outcome:

A list of what leads to a booking and what drives people away.

  3. Local search and reputation assessment

    What we do

We check your listings on Google Maps, Doctolib and Jameda, the booking platforms and the reviews.

    Outcome:

Maps deliver up to half of all first-time enquiries — we show where that flow leaks.

  4. Social media review

    What we do

We go through the content, suggest what to strengthen and define a strategy that works.

    Outcome:

You know what to publish and why.

  5. Closing meeting — 30 to 40 minutes

    What we do

We go through the findings, set priorities and answer your questions.

    Outcome:

If the problem is not marketing but service or pricing, we will say so plainly.

  6. The report is yours

    What we do

You receive the Patient Loss Map and a plan of work.

    Outcome:

A specific list of problems with recommendations and priorities.

The Patient Loss Map — a document that stays with you

  • Executive summary

The whole picture on one page: where you lose patients, why, and what to fix first.

  • Losses by channel

Website, search, maps, reputation, social media, booking funnel: what we found, why it is a loss and what proves it.

  • A prioritised plan of work

What to fix first, what second, and what result to expect from each step.

The difference between a free audit and a check-up

A free audit is usually a sales presentation. A check-up is work to a protocol built on 127 diagnostics.

  • Free audit

Purpose: to sell the agency’s services.
Depth: whatever could be looked at in the hour before the call.
Format: a presentation on a call, with nothing left afterwards.

FAQ — frequently asked questions

  • Why is the check-up paid when other agencies audit for free?

A free audit is usually a sales presentation: they look at whatever they had time to open and steer you towards a contract. A check-up is three to five days of work to a protocol, and the document stays with you.

  • We already work with a marketer or an agency. Is there any point?

Yes, as a second opinion. The check-up shows what is genuinely working and gives you the right questions for your current team.

  • Can we send our marketer to the closing meeting instead?

Together with you, yes. But the meeting is for whoever decides on budget and priorities — without the owner or manager it loses its point.

  • What if it turns out everything is fine?

Then that is what we will say. If the problem is not marketing but service, pricing or the doctors, you will hear it plainly.

  • How much of my time will it take?

Half an hour at the start to grant access and answer questions, and 30 to 40 minutes for the closing meeting.
